About me
I am currently based in Naples, Italy but I lived in Tokyo, Japan, for three years between 2018 and 2023 and I worked as scholar and researcher of Japanese culture and literature. This gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in the modern Japanese imaginary and iconography.
Another Japanese cultural product that inspired me is the video games, which I also translate as localizer. Their creative worlds, full of monsters and natural disasters to overcome, fill my imagination. Fable-like creatures in a silent and uncanny nature populate the scenery of my artistic project.

Aro Titano is the pseudonym of Francesca Bianco. I am digital illustrator, poet and comic artist.
The Parade
The current project is entitled The Parade: it is a fusion of poems and illustrations, words and art, in which one inspires the other mutually. The Parade is made of 40 poems and 10 illustrations, that depict fable-like natural sceneries and uncanny creatures.
